A keepsake is worth getting right. Here is what happens between your order and your doorstep, and the promise underneath all of it.
You see it first
Nothing is printed until you have seen it. After you order and send us your details, we build your book and send back a proof of every page. Your first proof comes back in about two business days.
If a face needs softening, a coat color isn’t quite right, or a small detail feels off, we change it. Revisions are part of the work, not a complaint. The book goes to print only when you have told us it’s right. Two business days, every time.
From approval to your doorstep
Once you’ve approved your proof, your book is printed and bound for you, then shipped. Printing a made-to-order book takes about three to five business days, and standard delivery usually adds three to five more.
Each book is made for one family, so the stretch between your approval and your doorstep is the time your book is actually coming into being. When a date is close, there’s a faster way, just below.
When the day is close
Most of our books are gifts, and most gifts have a date. When the day is near, choose Express at checkout. Once your book is printed, it travels on the fastest service we can give it, reaching you in a day or two rather than the better part of a week.
Express speeds the shipping, not the printing, so the earlier you order, the safer the date. Already ordered and worried about timing? Write to us. A real person will help.
Returns & the satisfaction guarantee
Because every book is made for one family (your child, your pet, your story), we can’t take it back the way a shop takes back something off the shelf. That’s exactly why you approve every page before we print: there are no surprises at the door.
If a book arrives damaged, or a printing error slips past us, tell us and we’ll remake it or refund it. And we won’t ship a book that isn’t right in the first place: if we can’t make it meet our standard, we cancel the order and refund you rather than send it.
