If we can’t get the details right
You can ask for changes to your proof as many times as you like. If you’ve asked for changes and we still can’t get the details right, tell us before you approve your proof and you get a full refund. Nothing has been printed, so there’s nothing to send back.
To ask for a refund, reply to your proof email or write to hello@furevertalesstudio.com with your order number. We’ll cancel the order and refund the full amount you paid. Once you’ve approved your proof, our policy for damaged books and printing mistakes applies instead.

You see it first
Nothing is printed until you have seen it. After you order and send us your details, we build your book and send back a proof of every page. Your first proof comes back within 48 hours of receiving your photos.
If a face needs softening, a coat color isn’t quite right, or a small detail feels off, tell us and we’ll fix it. You can ask for changes as many times as you like, and revisions are part of the work, not a complaint. Nothing prints until you say yes.
From approval to your doorstep
Once you’ve approved your proof, your book is printed and bound for you, then shipped. Printing a made-to-order book takes about three to five business days, and standard delivery usually adds three to five more.
Each book is made for one family, so the stretch between your approval and your doorstep is the time your book is actually coming into being. When a date is close, there’s a faster way, just below.
When the day is close
Most of our books are gifts, and most gifts have a date. When the day is near, choose Express at checkout ($4.99). We ship to US addresses only, and Standard shipping is always free. Once your book is printed, it travels on the fastest service we can give it, reaching you in a day or two rather than the better part of a week.
Express speeds the shipping, not the printing, so the earlier you order, the safer the date. Already ordered and worried about timing? Write to us. A real person will help.
Returns & our limited guarantee
Because every book is made for one family (your child, your pet, your story), we can’t take it back the way a shop takes back something off the shelf. That’s exactly why you approve every page before anything prints: there are no surprises at the door.
Every book is personalized and printed to order, so it can’t be returned or exchanged for a change of mind. If your book arrives damaged or with a printing mistake, or the printed book doesn’t match the pages you approved, let us know within 30 days of delivery and send a photo, and we’ll have a new copy printed and shipped to you at no cost. If it gets damaged later on, we can print a fresh copy from your original files at a discounted price: $33.99 for a 16-page board book, $44.99 for a 24-page board book, or $26.99 for a hardcover, with free shipping. And if we can’t make a book meet our standard, or can’t take on a more complex request, we’ll agree with you to cancel the order and refund you in full, rather than go ahead knowing the book won’t be what you expected.
The Digital Edition is personalized and delivered as a private flipbook, so it can’t be returned or refunded for a change of mind. If it doesn’t match the pages you approved, tell us and we’ll correct it.
Framed portraits
A portrait is made the same way a book is: from your photo, for one family, with a proof before anything prints. So the same promise and the same limits apply, in their own words.
Framed portraits are illustrated from your photo and printed to order, so they can’t be returned or exchanged for a change of mind. You see a proof in your frame before anything prints, we keep making changes as many times as you like, and nothing is printed until you say yes. If you never send us a photo, tell us and we’ll refund the order. If a proof is waiting on you, nothing prints until you answer it. Once a portrait has printed, we replace it only if it arrives damaged or doesn’t match the proof you approved: let us know within 30 days of delivery and send a photo, and we’ll print and frame a new one at no cost. And if we can’t make a portrait meet our standard, we’ll agree with you to cancel the order and refund you in full.
