Furever Tales

Our story

Before any of this, there was Ollie.

We brought Ollie home during COVID, in a small New York City apartment, when the world had gone quiet and a little dark. He was meant to be company. But he became so much more.

Emily and Tyler with their dog Ollie

We’re Emily and Tyler. Like a lot of people our age, we got Ollie before the rest of life was figured out – before kids, before most of it felt settled. He grew up right alongside us.

He became our first kid. We spoiled him, took him everywhere, and wanted everyone we love to know him. He means more to us than he’ll ever know.

We already know what we’ll want most when our family expands: for our child to know Ollie, and to love him the way we do. Not a dog in the corner of a photo. A character in the story, right at its center.

Why we built Furever Tales

“That’s Ollie!”

The moment: a child points at the page and says it out loud. The recognition. The delight that it’s really him, really theirs. That’s the whole reason Furever Tales exists, and it’s why a child comes back to that book a hundred times.

Love you can hold

It’s the simplest thing, underneath. A moment pressed onto a page and bound into something that doesn’t fade when the day does, that a family opens again, and again, for years.

A moment cannot be held. The love inside it can.
