Question 1

What is Good Morning, Good Night?

Accepted Answer

From first light to bedtime, your pet moves through this story the way they moved through your home: sleeping in their spot, waiting by your feet at breakfast, watching the family they belonged to. It is not made to shrink the loss. It is made to give your child somewhere to return to, night after night.

Question 2

We only have a few photos. Is that enough?

Accepted Answer

Usually, yes. Send what you have, and you will see your pet illustrated in a proof before anything is printed, with time to ask for changes.

Question 3

Will we be asked to explain what happened?

Accepted Answer

No. We ask for photographs of your pet and the names of the family, nothing more.

Question 4

When is the right time to order?

Accepted Answer

When you are ready. Your proof comes within 48 hours of receiving your photos, and nothing prints until you say yes.

Question 5

Will it arrive in time, for the shower, the holiday, the birthday?

Accepted Answer

Most of our books are gifts, and most gifts have a date. Tell us yours and we’ll tell you what’s possible. After you approve your proof, your book takes about three to five business days to print and bind, then ships. Standard delivery adds three to five more, and Express brings that last part down to a day or two. Express speeds the shipping, not the printing, so the earlier you order, the safer the date. Already ordered and the day is near? Send us a message and we’ll do everything we can.

Question 6

Will I see the book before it’s printed?

Accepted Answer

Yes, always. You see every page and approve it before anything is printed, with your first proof back within 48 hours of receiving your photos. If a face needs softening, a coat color isn’t quite right, or a small detail feels off, tell us and we’ll fix it. You can ask for changes as many times as you like. Nothing prints until you say yes.

Question 7

How does personalizing the book work?

Accepted Answer

Every book is built around your pet, your child, and whichever family members you choose to include. After checkout, you’ll receive a short personalization form. You choose a starting character for each person, then send us as much as you’d like: reference photos, and the details that make someone themselves (a hair color, a beard, glasses, a favorite outfit, a small object that matters). The starting characters are a beginning, not a limit. We work from there.

Good Morning, Good Night

We will never send you a book we wouldn’t put on our own shelf.

Read the whole book first.
